images/stories/banner/black-corals.jpgSenator Juan Miguel "Migz" Zubiri conducted an ocular inspection on confiscated black corals and sea turtles which authorities estimate to cost around P35M at the South Harbor in Port Area, Manila with officials from the Bureau of Customs and BFAR. Zubiri vowed to name names and unmask the illegal traders and violators of environmental laws. He will also file a measure in the Senate to punish violators with stricter penalties and even life imprisonment.
